Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and a half..he's white and i'm East Indian and Black..we get lots of positive comments from people..but i'm also those types of people who sometimes care what people think and i know that if you are in a relationship like this..u shouldn't care what people think...i just don't appreciate people staring at us...as if they know what's best for any of us (i blame it on how people raised their kids to think interracial relationships are wrong) and i personally think that God didn't put us on Earth just to date our own race if we should all get along.

I am a 21 year old white female in Tennessee & have been with my 26 year old black man for over 2 years & we are getting married in November of this year. I love knowing that as much as "interracial relationships" are looked down upon, the majority of real relationships work out. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful man & if I had listened to my family or anyone else who didn't approve of even associating themselves with "black people" I would be alone & miserable. I have found true love & if you haven't, don't give up. He/she is out there looking for you too!

Well I filed with the EEOC over 14 months now and they do not care, I looked into it more and found hundreds of people who say there cases have been going on for years
And the EEOC does not care most of us give up lose our jobs. We need help.

I am a white woman from the Netherlands and married to a african american for 8 years now. We have two children. Up till now we have been living in the Netherlands, which is probably one of the best country's in the world to live in for a mixed family. However, our youngest has Asthma and therefore it is better for her if we move to a dryer and warmer place (cause the wether here is about the worst in the world). I am told that the United States is not such a good place to be for a biracial family, since they are not accepted by black nor white people. I am an 18 year old mixed female, predominately black/white but there's other stuff too, and my boyfriend is Mexican. I love him more than life itself, and if he was lime green and blue polka-dotted, I would still love him just as much. My family has no choice but to accept him, because I'm stubborn as hell and always get my way. But they treat him like family, and his family treats me the same. We all come from the same mold, but the painter didn't use all the same colors.

I have absolutly no problem with mixed races, interracial relationships,or anyone of a different race than me. At this moment I am in an interracial relation ship and he is one of the nicest person I have every met in my entire life. He treats me the way i should be treated. He doesnt say mean things about my race and i dont say mean things bout his. Even though i am only 13,i guess i could say i "love" him.

i have only one problem with this relationship. My mother doesnt want me dating "outside" my race. she says it wasnt meant to be that way. but i really dont care what she says. becuse i really want to be with this person and no one can stop me not even my parents. but on the other had my step dad has no problem with it. so i guess it all works out ok. my parents met my boy friend and they said he was just fine but i know that in my moms head she was thinking something different.

so basically what i am saying is that i think interracial relation ships are just fine until it comes to your parents . for some young teens it can be alot of pressure from your friends, family or just in the eyes of other peoples opinions.

Ok I am totally for interracial relationships...I mean name one thing that is wrong with them? Exspecially if you aren't having kids with the person and it's just for a relationship! If god didn't want us together he wouldn't put us both on the same earth!And plus I think it would cut down in racism a lot if there were more bi-racial relaionships! I am a 16 year old female and of 4 different nationalites.
My mom is half Spanish and Filipina and my dad is half black and half white. I personally love to date interacially. I have mostly dated black men but I would love to date other men with different ethnic backgrounds.
I think people need to get through their thick heads that the world is not how it used to be and they need to drop the whole racist thing. We are all human beings. God created us all equal. No race is better than the other.

It was such a great oppotunity to read what others think of this kind of issue and I am happy to know about this site. Now I am in a very difficult situation. I am Japanese and my boyfriend is black. My parents have been saying that they would disown me if I got married to him. I do love my boyfriend, but I still love my paretns as well. My question to everyone is how do you guys handle your families. What I mean is his family loves me to death they already calling me family and I love it, but my family is not like that basically my dad. This is just a brief post to share how nice it is to find a site like this. I wish we were all neighbors. I feel so lonely sometimes, although very seldom I see families like ours at the mall or out somewhere, it is always at a distance. We are in San Antonio, TX, although I am from Dayton, Ohio. I am a divorced caucasion mom of two terrific happy brown kids, and working on my graduate degree, so I suppose one reason we are isolated is because we just don't have time to just go out and experience the world around us! But I hope someday we will move to an area where we can find and meet more families like ours. And in the meantime, I hope we meet people here that we'll know to call whenever we get to whereever we end up!!

I just want to know... Why is it that when you find someone who you can truly love and trust you whole life you also find that there are people who enjoy bringing you down. Hey everyone! This site is very inspiring sorta what i needed. I'm a white 17 yr old female and i usually date to my race. Until, i found the love of my live, Joe a black 17 yr old. I am very much in love with him and very happy. But, I have to go through alot of suffering at home because of my preference. I have to hide that our relationship goes past just a friend and sneak around to see him. My parents are very much against the whole idea. But, as Joe and I say there is no color on love.....I hope people could open their eyes and see that interracial isn't a negative thing it involes love not hate and how can that be negative? I know it struck me and i least expected it. But, Joe treats me better than my own family and he is an angel from above.
